Studio A
Welcome to our flagship studio... Studio AIf you're at all familiar with Sweetwater's history, you know that the recording operations actually predated our retail business. The level of quality, flexibility, and technology incorporated into the studio facilities is stunning. Studio A - along with the other two studios - can be configured to work with practically any combination of recording rooms in the complex, as well as tie into the Performance Theatre - effectively using it as a soundstage.
Studio A's integrated control room features a Digidesign D-Control console, plus a slew of the best outboard preamps and processors. The control room offers an incredible view of the performers thanks to the ceiling-to-floor window, properly angled to be perfect acoustically, of course. All three studios are laid out to be "tour-friendly," giving visitors the chance to see them in action (including an eye-popping microphone closet/display, a functional mic locker that doubles as a visual feast for gear hounds).
