Chet Chambers
Studio Manager

In addition to managing our talented Studio Team, Chet is Producer/Engineer for many of our Songwriter and Artist album projects. He was Sweetwater’s first full-time producer and studio manager beginning since the earth cooled (1983) and has enjoyed the privilege of producing hundreds of projects for Sweetwater’s artist clients and corporate clients.

Chet is married to Sherri, spending time with his daughter, Hunter, and is very involved in music and worship at the church he attends.

Arranging, producing music, and being involved in the “creative process” with other musicians is Chet’s “dream job” that he has always wanted to do since his pre-teen years, which seems like an awful long time ago, (perhaps because it was a long time ago).

Sweetwater’s Studios are the perfect playground for him to romp in daily.

Julie Doust
Administrative Assistant

Julie is an indispensable part of our staff. As Studio Receptionist and Administrative Assistant Extraordinaire, her many duties include reading minds, dodging bullets, and otherwise doing the impossible. And when she's not leaping tall buildings in a single bound, she's also responsible for the studio's billing, scheduling, ordering materials, handling of pressings and duplication, and coordinating vendors. In short, we are convinced that Julie is really in fact, Wonder Woman in disguise.

Banner Kidd
Studio Account Executive

Banner's history with Sweetwater began back in the early 80's in late night recording sessions with his band and Sweetwater CEO, Chuck Surack.  

Banner is an integral part of the creative team, helping to advance the level of cutting edge custom music and audio marketing tools for radio, TV, video and 'yet to be thought of' corporate applications. His many years of audio and marketing experience help him to be a top-notch liason between our clients and our production team.

In his spare time (yeah right!) Banner is a songwriter, blog author, co-hosts an internet Bible teaching podcast, and plays bass in his church worship team.  Banner and his wife of 27 years have four children and live in Stroh, Indiana.

Nathan Heironimus
Producer / Engineer

Nathan is our main Producer/Engineer/Writer for audio marketing tools and corporate music, and also helps in arranging and production for artist albums.

Nathan graduated from Anderson University with a BA in Music Business and has had much experience recording, writing, producing and arranging music and plays of variety of instruments including: drums, bass, guitar, keys, percussion, and vocals.

When not working to provide great music for artists and agencies, he enjoys spending time with his family, eating Oreos, making new friends, and helping people.

He does not like onions, the buzzer at basketball games, or mowing the lawn in hot weather.

Justin Zellers
Producer / Engineer

Justin's chief responsibilities include album mastering, radio spot production, telephone on-hold productions, and keeping our plants alive.

Justin graduated from Ball State University in '03 with BA in Telecommunications. As a capstone to his college education, Justin interned here at Sweetwater Productions before being hired as a full-time engineer. He was married to his beautiful wife, Hope, in the fall of 2011. They share a home with their four cats. Before you ask, yes, that is actually true.

In his spare time, Justin enjoys watching watching Chicago sports teams, eating at Taco Bell, attending minor league sporting events, and listening to what he considers great music. Some of the artists that Justin's not embarrassed to say he admires are Ben Folds, David Bowie, Neil Young, and John Lennon. He also delights in the artistry of Jim Nabors, but you didn't hear that from us...

Dan Ankney
Producer / Engineer

Dan takes on a broad range of projects including live remote recordings, band demos, custom album projects, songwriting, and production. He also uses his multi-instrumental and vocal abilities to develop audio marketing tools and corporate music.

He graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with a Liberal Arts degree, and his varied interests and abilities have taken him all over the world — from Europe to the Caribbean to the Orient — making great music all along the way.

Outside of the studio Dan enjoys his lovely wife, long words, building and making things, learning, and staying in perpetual motion.

As a kid he told everyone that when he grew up he wanted to be professionally "awesome." Now that he's achieved the "awesome" goal, we'll help him work on the growing up part...

Jacob Culberson
Producer/Engineer

Jacob is our jack of all trades. When he's not making sales calls and assisting Banner in customer amazement, he handles many of our singer/songwriter & rock band sessions. Tracking, mixing, and cleaning up Banner's tater skins... Jacob does it all!

Jacob graduated from Capital University with a BA in Music Technology, and also attended the Recording Workshop in Chillicothe, Ohio as a part of his University Studies. He plays bass and some guitar, but only sings in the shower.

In his spare time, Jacob enjoys hanging out with his yellow lab Jacei, playing disc golf, lacrosse, and listening to music. He tells us his apartment smells of genuine leather and rich mahogany, and his favorite planet is Pluto (we don't have the heart to tell him it's not a planet anymore).
